Acrylic Collage Workshop

15th Aug 2020

Acrylic Collage Workshop

This workshop is designed to help students develop a more creative approach to painting by introducing collage to your work. The day will start with an introduction to the materials and the various methods of working with examples of the techniques. This will be followed by a short demonstration and discussion about choosing a suitable subject. Students will then begin their own work and be encouraged to experiment with different materials.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available, but please bring a packed lunch.

Jane Rhodes

Jane is a well-known local artist who has taught for many years. She also demonstrates and runs a wide variety of workshops.  Although primarily known for her atmospheric pastel paintings she uses and experiments with many other media. Her enthusiasm, encouragement and obvious love of painting have made her a popular tutor and her workshops fill quickly.
Solo shows include an exhibition at the Visual Arts Centre in Hong Kong and her work has been selected by The Society of Women Artists and The Pastel Society to be shown at the Mall Galleries in London. She now exhibits locally at Woburn Mosaic in Bedford Street, Woburn and Bedford Arts Centre.

If you would like to book a place or require more information please contact Sally Creveul
