Stotfold Preservation Trust

The Trust’s primary aims are:

To preserve, develop and maintain Stotfold Mill, a building of special architectural and historical interest, as a working watermill and display of rural life artefacts, for the education and benefit of the public.

To manage the conservation, protection and preservation of the adjacent Stotfold Nature Reserve and in doing so provide for the care and management of the reserve and the education of the public in the understanding, appreciation and enjoyment of the flora and fauna of the reserve.

Would you like to contribute to the development and running of this successful community project?

We are looking for people with experience in:

Business Management, Strategic Development and Planning, Governance of Charities, Financial Management and Minuting of official meetings.

Open Dates & Times

Stotfold Watermill is a great day out for all the family and is open to the public on various dates throughout the year. The Nature Reserve which adjoins the Mill is open all year round.

Take some time to visit our award winning tea room. The menu includes tasty soup, delicious cakes, cream teas and Fairtrade tea and cofee, all served by our friendly team of volunteers.

Join As A Volunteer

Our volunteer teams are the vital cogs that keep the Mill and Nature Reserve running. Can you spare some time to join the teams which enable us to open the Mill to visitors?
